Valerie Freese Accounting Clerk Valerie was born and rais ed in Chester County, growing up as a country girl on a dairy farm. While attending college she worked part time at Unionville Equine Associates and a small animal practice. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in animal science she joined Unionville Equine fulltime in the fall of 1999. Valerie enjoys trail riding and showing her Arabians at local amateur breed shows. She competes in Hunter Pleasure, Native Costume and Saddleseat. In addition to competing at horse shows she competes with her Cardigan Corgi Eddie at Agility Trials. |

Doris Holbrook Secretary, Reception Doris was born and raised in West Grove, PA. After spending many years working in human medicine she joined our staff in December of 2003. She has raised four children, who all reside in the immediate area. Most of her spare time is spent with the loves of her life, grandson Daulton who is six, two year old drama queen Carlee, and her four legged grandson, Doberman puppy Lance. |

Karen Webb Administrative Assistant/Web Master Karen joined Unionville Equine Associates in the spring of 2006. Originally from Delaware she and her husband relocated to Chester County in 2002. She enjoys spending time on her small farm with her many animals which include a horse, goats and chickens. She is an avid dressage rider with her partner Kapi a Lipizzan Thoroughbred gelding. |

Sue Downing Communications Secretary Sue joined UEA in October 2008 after spending many years in the medical billing field. Originally from Delaware County PA, she moved with her husband to a small farm in Cochranville in 2003. She enjoys trail riding with her young Morgan as well as walking with her two rescue dogs Indy and Bristol. |

Amy Johnson Communications Secretary Amy was born and raised in Cecil County, Maryland where she was an avid member of 4-H growing up. Before his retirement in 2006 Amy enjoyed showing her Arab Welsh cross HTC Ignited Fire aka Iggy at local hunter/jumper shows. While working part time at UEA Amy is preparing to earn her degree in Veterinary Technology. |

Nicole Benzinger Clinic Coordinator Nicole is a lifelong resident of Chester County Pennsylvania, graduating from Avon Grove High School in 1991. Having been born with a love of horses she has been involved with them on some level since starting to ride at age six. Her favorite pastimes are riding cross country for pleasure, listening to the waves at the beach or any kind of fishing. She has been with Unionville Equine Associates since the fall of 2000. |

Erinn Brown Clinic Technician Erinn was born and raised in Bensalem, PA. She attended Harcum College for Veterinary Technology and graduated in 1998. She then began working at University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center, then as a Veterinary Tech at Delaware Equine and joined Unionville Equine Associates in the spring of 2006. Erinn enjoys riding her eleven year old standardbred, Nathan. They both can be found trail riding, paper chasing and at local schooling shows. |

Michael J. Weigman, LVT Michael is US Army veteran, graduate of the University of Maryland and Chesapeake College’s VAP. He has 15 years veterinary technician experience in equine sports medicine and research at the National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Michael enjoys providing technician support at local steeplechase races. His horse, the amazing “Bob Bailey” holds the track record for 2 miles at Garden State Park (3:36). |
