Dr. Kimberly Martin grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the city of Salisbury, where she spent most of her time outside and caring for animals of all kinds. She grew up as an avid Pony Clubber in the Delmarva region, competing mostly in eventing, dressage and mounted games. Her love of horses and veterinary medicine continued to grow during her undergraduate career at the University of Delaware, where she obtained an Honors Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine & Animal Biosciences with minors in Biology and Equine Science. She obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, falling in love with the equine community in Chester County, and is excited to join Unionville Equine for her internship. Dr. Martin loves riding as often as she can, hiking, traveling, being active, singing, and enjoys free time with her husband, Tim, their two horses, Flea and Sean, and two dogs, Elvis and Denver at their home in West Grove.
