Stephanie A. Wardius, DVM is a 2016 graduate of St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine located in Grenada, West Indies. Stephanie is originally from West Chester, PA and grew up riding hunters, equitation, and eventing. Before attending veterinary school, Stephanie graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and competed on the IHSA Equitation Team. She has experience working in Thoroughbred breeding and was a technician at Unionville Equine before acceptance into vet school. Stephanie spent three years studying in Grenada and completed her 4th year clinical rotations at the University of Georgia. Following, she completed an equine medicine and surgery internship at University of Queensland, Australia and then worked in New Jersey treating Thoroughbred racehorses at Monmouth Park. In her free time Stephanie enjoys riding and spending time outdoors with her Chihuahua, Petey, who can be found hanging out in the UEA office and out on farm calls with her.
