Goal
Gain hands on experience with a wide variety of diagnostic and treatment disciplines. As an extern, you will be exposed to a large variety of cases including sports medicine and pre-purchase examinations, reproduction, healthy and sick neonatal evaluations, medicine, surgery, chiropractic and acupuncture. Our aim is to provide students with a realistic example of a successful equine practice.

A furnished two bedroom apartment is available. Amenities include full kitchen, cable television and air conditioning.
Location
UEA is located in beautiful Chester County but our practice covers the Tri-State Region of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. This area is a horse enthusiast’s paradise that includes virtually all equestrian disciplines. In addition, our practice is less than twenty minutes from the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center, a major large animal referral center.
